160 years of history, marked by some milestones for what is currently one of the best-known and most popular brands in chocolate and confectionery. In 1858 two confectioners from Canavese decided to open an artisan store in Turin to produce their specialties and to resell various goods. In 1872 the premises were insufficient to accommodate the clientele attracted by the goodness of the products: the store moved to the new Galleria delle Industrie and became an elegant tea room, the most renowned and frequented in Turin. Over the decades Baratti&Milano has been the protagonist of many transformations and expansions, remaining a symbol of Italian high quality.
