Bauli's Classic Colomba a is made with fresh eggs, selected flour, quality butter and orange candied fruit, with a sweet topping of almonds and a mouth-watering sugar grain. It is made with sourdough and left to rise for a long time for an extraordinarily soft dough.
Bauli is first and foremost a family story. Having completed his apprenticeship in a small pastry shop in Verona, Ruggero Bauli opened his first confectionery workshop in 1922. Thanks to his success over the years, in 1950 Ruggero starts the industrial production of his most representative product: the Pandoro. Having won the hearts of Italian families, Bauli has since then entered the Italian tradition to all intents and purposes, delighting Italians on holidays and everyday life.
