The story of Pasticceria Barbero begins with Marco, who in the late 1800s moved to Turin from Cherasco to work as a helper in a confectionery workshop and learn a trade. A few years later he returned to Cherasco where he opened a chocolate confectionery that still produces its original specialties, such as the Baci di Cherasco. Under the central arcades of the Piedmontese town in the Pasticceria Barbero you can breathe in the charm of the past among a thousand delights to taste, in the warm atmosphere of the place: pralines, truffles, cremini, cascè and of course the Baci.
