Elice is an intense, pure Vermentino Costa Toscana IGT made with only grapes from a small vineyard called "La Punta." Straw yellow in color, the nose offers notes of white flowers, white-fleshed fruit and citrus fruits. In the mouth it is complex, intense, extremely balanced in acidity and flavor, very pleasant. Perfect with seafood dishes, especially with sauces and soups of fish and shellfish in white and mixed grills. Excellent with tartare and carpaccio, with sushi and sashimi. Alcohol 13%. Serving temperature 8/10 C°.
Fralluca is a young winery, the realization of the dream of the owner couple who in 2005 bought Podere I Barbiconi on the hills of Suvereto, between the Tuscan Coast and the Upper Maremma. Under the guidance of winemaker Federico Curtaz, they choose to plant traditional grape varieties for the area, Vermentino and Sangiovese, and international ones, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Viognier, and a variety grown in Maremma, Alicante Bousquet. Their philosophy is simple: make wine while respecting the characteristics imprinted on the grapes by the grape variety, the vintage and the work in the vineyard. Cultivation practices are those of organic and sustainable farming. For its wines, La Fralluca has received several awards and recognitions.
