“Tumai” was the old word used to describe one of the areas where particularly high quality olives grow, and is a sign of quality. This is a natural oil obtained from cold-pressed olives and is typical of oils from Liguria.
The history of Olio Anfosso began in the mid-1940s, when brothers Alessandro and Alfredo, in love with the olive oil culture of western Liguria, began processing native olives into high-quality oils. Over the years, the Anfosso brothers expanded their offerings to include olive sauces, pasta and preserves. All this, both by maintaining an unbreakable bond with tradition and by reworking classic recipes in a modern key.
