A Franciacorta DOCG Brut made in limited numbers from pure Chardonnay grapes, with half the must aged in barriques on selected yeasts. Bright yellow in color, it has fine and persistent perlage. The nose carries woody scents that combine with candied citrus and light yeast aromas. On the palate it is fruity with toasted and vanilla notes, with elegant persistence. A Franciacorta for the whole meal, perfect with rich first courses and risottos, from sea and land. Excellent with tartare and fish carpaccio. Alcohol 13%. Serving temperature 8/10° C.
A historical enterprise since 2012, Catturich Ducco Winery was founded in Passirano, on the family estate in Franciacorta, in 1967 by Count Piero. His passion for oenology led him to Burgundy to study local production and aging methods: he was one of the first to introduce barriques in Italy and to offer red sparkling wines. With the introduction of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc vineyards, the winery established itself for its renowned sparkling wines made with the classic method.
