A Franciacorta sparkling wine made from Chardonnay grapes, aged in the bottle for 18 months. In the glass it is straw yellow in color, with fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet is soft and delicate, and on tasting it is complete and enveloping. Perfect as an aperitif and paired with fish-based first and second courses , vegetable omelettes, and white meats. Serving temperature 6-8° C.
A historical enterprise since 2012, Catturich Ducco Winery was founded in Passirano, on the family estate in Franciacorta, in 1967 by Count Piero. His passion for oenology led him to Burgundy to study local production and aging methods: he was one of the first to introduce barriques in Italy and to offer red sparkling wines. With the introduction of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc vineyards, the winery established itself for its renowned sparkling wines made with the classic method.
