Winner of Viniplus' 2018 Quattro Rose Camune award, this Franciacorta DOCG Brut is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes fermented partly in steel and partly in old barriques with selected yeasts. Yellow in color with greenish highlights, it has fine and persistent perlage. On the nose it gives notes of bread crust and dried fruit, in the mouth it is fresh, savory, persistent. A versatile Brut, perfect as an aperitif and to accompany earthy appetizers, risottos with mushrooms, roasted white meats. Excellent throughout a meal, with fish recipes. Alcohol 13%. Serving temperature 6/8° C.
A historical enterprise since 2012, Catturich Ducco Winery was founded in Passirano, on the family estate in Franciacorta, in 1967 by Count Piero. His passion for oenology led him to Burgundy to study local production and aging methods: he was one of the first to introduce barriques in Italy and to offer red sparkling wines. With the introduction of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc vineyards, the winery established itself for its renowned sparkling wines made with the classic method.
